A Little Bit About Us...
Habitat for Hounds Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501c3 corporation. We are a charitable organization dedicated to helping animals in need. We rely on donations, fundraisers, and grants to help the animals.
Founded in 2002, Habitat's mission is to alleviate the pain and suffering of abused and neglected animals. The organization began assisting dogs tied outside by providing dog houses and straw for warmth.
Habitat also provides assistance with emergency veterinary care and pet food. We seek to educate the public about the proper care of animals and the importance of vaccinating, spaying and neutering their pets.
Habitat for Hounds Animal Rescue is licensed through the Department of Agriculture as a Rescue Network Kennel.
